International singer-actress Lea Salonga just laughed off a very awkward situation during her guesting in a UK newscast.
In the July 5 episode of UK newscast “Sunrise,” the host Stephen Dixon mistakenly read a different introduction which is definitely not meant for Salonga herself. She was bound to promote her concert tour in the United Kingdom that is set to happen this coming July 7 until July 21.
We've got a Broadway and WestEnd star on #Sunrise at 8.40am.

Instead of introducing Lea, the host introduced environmental advocate Anna Hughes, who was set to talk about her campaign asking 100,000 people to pledge against flying for an entire year in 2020.
“Would you be prepared to give up flying for a whole year to help the planet?” Dixon said.
Although confused with the situation, Lea was able to pull off the awkward situation and immediately corrected Dixon.
“I am not Anna Hughes, I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s going on. I am not Anna Hughes, sorry about that,” she said.
Dixon together with his co-host Gillian Joseph was shocked and surprised in the said mistake, yet they quickly apologized to Salonga saying “Why does Princess Jasmine not want to fly for a year?”
