The Office of the Ombudsman is seeking the removal of officials involved in the Php 47.5 million Clarete Priority Development Assessment Fund Scam.

The Ombudsman is targeting to remove executives of the National Agribusiness Corporation (NABCOR), National Livelihood Development Corporation (NLDC), and Technology Resource Center (TRC) from their posts.

These include former Misamis Occidental Representative Marina Clarete, NABCOR manager Romulo Relevo, bookkeeper Maria Ninez Guañizo, NLDC Director Emmanuel Alexis Sevidal, Dir. Chita Jalandoni, Division Gregoria Buenaventura, Div. Chief Ofelia Ordoñez, Div. Chief Sofia Cruz, TRC Chief Accountant Marivic Jover, budget Specialist Consuelo Espiritu.

Based on the investigation of the Ombudsman, the PDAF Fund of Clarete from 2007 up to 2009 was completely used, and, on the same time, the said personalities gained expensive properties, allegedly, thru the pork barrel of the congresswoman.
