Overseas Filipino Workers will now be spared from paying airport terminal fees starting April 30.

Manila International Airport Authority Gen. Manager Eddie Monreal and 40 representatives of different air carriers signed the Memorandum of Agreement in connection with the “passenger service charge” to OFWs.

Under the said agreement, OFWs are exempted from paying the Php550 international passenger service charge or the Php200 domestic passenger service charge on “face to face” purchase tickets.

Meanwhile, the exemption of terminal fees for OFWs on online ticket purchase will take effect on July 31.
