Officials of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has asked the public to stay calm despite their sudden displacement of the 3,500 Caloocan City police officers last week.
According to NCRPO Chief Director Oscar Albayalde, there are enough policemen in Metro Manila to take over the function of the relieved policemen in Caloocan.
Albayalde dispatched 3,500 cops following the series of mysterious teen killings in the area as well as the robbery that took place last September 7 carried by the Caloocan cops.
Caloocan City cops have been tagged in the deaths of Kian Lloyd delos Santos, Carl Angelo Arnaiz, and the disappearance of Reynaldo de Guzman.
Meanwhile, caught on CCTV were 13 police officers who suddenly barged into the home of a 51-year-old woman at Barangay 188, Tala district and stole several valuable items and cash.
According to Albayalde, the relieved cops would undergo 45 days of reorientation and values formation at the NCRPO headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan City.
