NBI presents to media 500 kilos seized shabu

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) presented to media more than 500 kilos of shabu seized in Valenzuela City last Saturday.

The 505 kilos of shabu is now under the custody of the forensic chemistry division of the agency.

NBI Director Dante Gierran, said based on initial examination by the forensic chemistry division, the seized contraband is mostly high-grade shabu.

The NBI conducted the raid following the information received by the Bureau of Customs (BoC) from the Office of National Narcotics Control Commission of China informing that there is a large shipment of illegal drugs from China to the Philippines.

Members of PDEA, Valenzuela Police and BoC joined forces to stop the contraband smuggling placed inside crates of a brokerage warehouse in Valenzuela City.

Prior to this, authorities arrested siblings identified as Fidel Anoche Dee after receiving the said contrabands.
