The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) proved that they do not tolerate abusive traffic enforcers.

The agency has terminated from their agency  71 traffic enforcers due to several violations from 2010 up to the present.

MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino has been serious in the agency’s campaign for good governance and public service.

Members of the MMDA have always been criticized for allegedly being abusive, extorting money from motorists.

According to Tolentino, traffic enforcers should serve as good examples in promoting road discipline and should not be the cause of irresponsibility.

Tolentino added that the MMDA will file necessary charges against abusive personnel.

The said move of the MMDA aims to clean their ranks from bad and abusive traffic enforcers.
