Different militant groups are set to stage a Black Friday protest against the alleged impunity of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in illegal drug war, including the latest incident where a Korean businessman was killed inside Camp Crame in Quezon City.

Renato Reyes, Sec-Gen. of Bayan, said the involvement of high-rank officials of the PNP together with the operatives of the Anti-illegal drugs are some of the reasons why the government is unsuccessful with its war on illegal drugs.

Reyes added that those implementing the drug war are corrupt agencies, the reason that nobody will be liable of the crime and there is impunity happening.

Reyes said that with the Black Friday protest, they will insist on PNP Chief Dir. Gen. Ronald Dela Rosa to act on the many cases involving his men.

The protest is set this Friday, January 27, in front of Camp Crame.
