Mighty Sports Philippines remains undefeated in Dubai tournament


Mighty Sports Philippines remains undefeated at the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championships after beating Lebanese team Homenetmen, 96-89, on Sunday, Feb. 3, at Shabab Al Ahli gymnasium.

Randolph Morris and Jeremiah Grey each gave 24 points to lead Mighty Sports to their third win in the tournament. Justin Brownlee also registered 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Philippine representatives that went up by 16 points at most during the game.

Walter Hodge finished with 42 points for the Homenetmen, while Elie Rustom and Michael Efevberha each gave 11 points.

Mighty Sports, who has already secured a slot in the quarterfinals, will try to keep their winning streak going when they face Al Wahda-Syria in their final game at the group stage of the tournament.
