Media personalities from different broadcasting stations have decided to take some time off from their busy schedules to pay tribute to their fallen comrade, Jose “Joe” Malgapo Taruc Jr.
Friends, politicians, admirers, and much more said their goodbyes to the veteran broadcaster, Joe Taruc, or most commonly known as “Manong Joe” yesterday, October 2.
Those who attended his wake remembered many of his great contributions to the industry. Some of those who attended were former Vice President Noli De Castro, Rey Langit, former Senator Orly Mercado, Mike Enriquez, Ali Sotto of DZBB, Deo Macalma of DZRH, Atty. Jimmy Policarpio, Columnist Jarius Bondoc, and much more.
Many of those who knew the late Joe Taruc described him to be the “voice of truth.”
Manong Joe, one of the pillars of the broadcasting industry, after more than 40-long-years in service, has signed-off at the age of 71.
