The boxing match between Mixed Martial Arts Lightweight Champion Conor Mcgregor and retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been given the green signal from both camps.

According to reports, Dana White, Mcgregor’s promoter, has persuaded Mayweather’s camp to accept the fight that will happen at T-mobile Arena, Las Vegas, this August 26.

The two fighters also confirmed the fight in their own social media accounts.

The fight is expected to favor Mayweater, who is leaving retirement, due to the match happening in a boxing ring and based on boxing rules.

The crossover between the MMA star and boxing legend is also expected to earn millions of dollars.

Mcgregor’s camp has previously announced that they agreed to fight Mayweather in a boxing match.
