Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana has set a new deadline to end the Marawi City seige.

DND Secretary Delfin reckoned that the battle between the military troops and ISIS-sympathizers group Maute may take an estimate of one to two months.

This was also the assessment of the ground commanders and government forces in the battle zone.

Meanwhile, AFP Spokesman Restituto Padilla says that the battle draws closer and closer every day, and will not take more than a month to end the terror crisis.

It is only a number of days until government forces regain control of the rebel leader’s stronghold, says Padilla.
