The annual grand festivity of champions, also known as Aliwan Fiesta, is back and will bring another set of homegrown artists to perform in its three-day celebration.
The first day of the 2019 Aliwan Fiesta will kick off in front of the Aliw Theater, Pasay City with various performances from respective bands in its annual Pasakalye concert. Among the performances to be anticipated are from EXTREME LAB, Ben&Ben, This Band, and juan karlos.
Also performing in the 2nd night of the festivity are singers Christian Bautista and Jason Fernandez who will be serenading the beautiful candidates of the Reyna ng Aliwan 2019.
On its last day, actor Vin Abrenica will make your hearts flutter as he sings his heart out for the candidates in their Coronation Night. 6Cyclemind will also headline the performance and is said to make the crowd go wild right before the closing of the Aliwan Fiesta.

Formed in Las Piñas, This Band came to spotlight with their debut song “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” and other popular singles such as Tampisaw”, “Bitaw Na”, and “Hindi Na Nga.”
The band is composed of Andrea Manzano, Melvin Carson, Miccael Galvan, Reymart Gubat, Euwie Loira and John Macaranas.
Headlined by the 18-year-old former The Voice kids finisher JK Labajo as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, juan karlos is a Filipino rock band from Manila, lead guitarist Abe Hipolito, bassist Louise Bayas, and drummer Gian Hipolito. The band first gained exposure with the release of their second single “Buwan.”
The group Ben&Ben, which was formerly known as The Benjamins, is an indie folk band which was originally formed by twin brothers, Paolo and Miguel Guico.
Together with the twins, Ben&Ben is composed of Poch Barretto on electric guitar, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Toni Muñoz and Andrew de Pano on percussions, and Keifer Cabugao on violin.
The band has been known for their popular hits such as “Ride Home”, “Leaves”, “Maybe the Night”, and the critically acclaimed “Kathang Isip”.
He first came to popularity when he became a finalist of Star In A Million, a Philippine reality show aired on ABS-CBN channel, winning 4th place in the competition in 2003.
The singer established his name as an OPM artist with songs such as “The Way You Look at Me”, “Colour Everywhere” and “Hands to Heaven”. The 37-year-old gained popularity not only in the Philippines but in other countries in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysiaand Thailand.
Jason Fernandez served as the lead vocalist of the beloved OPM band, Rivermaya following Rico Blanco, after he won the reality television search “Bagong Liwanag”. In 2011, he decided to leave after four years with the band, citing musical differences as one of the main reasons for his departure.
In 2013, he released an original album entitled “Panimula”. It was inspired by all the things he had gone through for the past years. Jason also stood out in the Voice of the Philippines Season 2 as a part of Coach Apl d Ap’s team.
During his blind audition, Coach Bamboo, who was also a former Rivermaya vocalist, was stunned to see him.
Vin Abrenica, best known from being the younger brother of Aljur Abrenica, is a Filipino actor who appeared as a contestant on the reality-based talent search show Artista Academy and later won the competition with Sophie Albert. Jumping to its rival station, Vin is slowly becoming one of the more bankable bida-kontrabida actors of his generation.
6cyclemind is a Filipino band composed of Tito Fortunato “Tutti” Caringal II on vocals, Ryan “Rye” Sarmiento on rhythm guitars and backing vocals, Roberto “Bob” Cañamo on bass guitar and backing vocals, Herbert Hernandez on lead guitars and Vic Aquino on drums.
Their music is best known for its fusion of alternative and pop music.
