Local oil companies announce big-time price rollback

After a series of price hikes, local oil companies announced a big-time price rollback.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. already decreased the price of their gasoline by Php 1.55 per liter and diesel by Php 0.50 per liter on Sunday, Sept. 29. Petro Gazz Corporation will implement similar price rollbacks on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Cleanfuel also cut the price of their gasoline by Php 1.50 per liter, and diesel by 0.50 per liter on Sunday.

SeaOil Philippines Inc., meanwhile, dropped the price of their gasoline by Php 1.45 per liter, diesel by Php 0.60 per liter, and kerosene by Php 1.00 per liter on Monday, Sept. 30.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation and Chevron Philippines Corp. will implement similar price adjustments on Tuesday at 6:00AM and 12:01AM, respectively.

Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. will also reduce the price of their gasoline by Php 1.45 per liter, and diesel by Php 0.70 per liter starting 6:00AM on Tuesday.
