Apart from her beauty, Leth Abinales is always admired for maintaining her grace and poise amidst the most critical broadcast situation. She may give the impression of a soft and dainty woman on the outside, but when it is war on the field, Leth becomes the most competitive, boldest, and craftiest journalist. How she manages to remain composed while scooping the biggest stories in her beat will always be a mystery to others.
Leth graduated from Lyceum of the Philippines University with a degree in Mass Communications. She started as a production assistant in one of DZRH’s programs, and eventually promoted as a newswriter. After seven years of training in the newsroom, Leth was given her biggest break when she was assigned to cover the Corona Impeachment Trial. After showcasing her exceptional abilities in the field, she was finally deployed as the DZRH’s beat reporter in the House of Representatives and Sandiganbayan. She has covered the most controversial political issues including the pork barrel scam cases, as well as the yearly State of The Nation Address of the President.
Aside from being a beat reporter for DZRH, Leth also co-anchors Sherwin Alfaro in the Sunday magazine program, “Maynila, Ito angPilipinas”, which airs from 7 to 8 in the morning.
