A month after admitting their two-year relationship, solo artist HyunA and Pentagon’s E’Dawn have been kicked out from Cube Entertainment.
It can be recalled that the South Korean entertainment company experienced a dip in their stock prices when some fans decided to abandon their idols after the dating rumors surfaced.
On September 13, the agency revealed through an official statement that they have decided to remove the two from the agency after “breaking their faith and trust in each other.”
The announcement also stated, “We have put in our best efforts in working with our label artists in artist management through loyalty and trust in our relationship. After numerous discussions, it is with great pain that we have come to the conclusion that it will prove difficult for us to rebuild the broken loyalty and trust between these two artists, HyunA and E’Dawn; as a result, we have made the decision to force them out from our label.”
“We sincerely thank the two artists and their fans who have been with us until now,” Cube Entertainment concludes.
Recently, E’Dawn wrote a heartfelt letter addressed to his fans. In his letter, he apologized to his fans for not explaining sooner and for doing it in writing instead of personally meeting up with them.
He also mentioned that his past decisions have always been conferred with his group, but because this was something personal, it was his choice to come out clean, instead of “living a lie.”
The two have been halted from promotions and appearances following their dating announcement.
