Typhoon ‘Karen’ is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Sunday night, contrary to what was predicted that it will linger until early Monday morning.
In line with this, PAGASA has lifted all storm signals in the country, as ‘Karen’ slowly moves outside the Philippines.
Based on the latest record of PAGASA, the typhoon was last spotted at a distance of 260 kilometers West North-west of Iba, Zambales.
Though it gained strength after making a landfall, with winds of up to 130 kph, and gustiness of up to 200 kph.
‘Karen’ is moving towards WEst North-west with a speed of 24 kph.
Meanwhile, PAGASA warned that there is an impending typhoon, with an international name of ‘Haima’ which will be called ‘Lawin’ when it enters PAR late Monday afternoon.
