Justin Brownlee will not be rejoining the Alab Pilipinas in their defense of the ASEAN Basketball League title.
According to Sherryl Reyes, the agent of Brownlee, the 30-year old American basketball player has signed a contract with the Al Riyadi Beirut in the Lebanese Basketball League.
However, Reyes assured that the contract will remain only until May and that Brownlee will suit up for Commissioner’s Cup and Governor’s Cup of the PBA season 44.
The agent also said that Alab Pilipinas owner Charlie, Brgy. Ginebra team governor Alfrancis Chua, and Ginebra coach Tim Cone gave their blessings for the 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Best Import to play for the Lebanese team.
Brownlee previously played for Mighty Sports Philippines, which finished third in the 2019 Dubai International Basketball Tournament.
