Jollibee apologizes for ‘Versace’ dance


Leading fast food chain in the Philippines, Jollibee issued an apology on a recent post wherein its mascot, Jollibee was seen dancing to the sensual song of Bruno Mars, ‘Versace on the Floor.’

The said video immediately went viral.  However, some netizens were quick to react that allegedly, the dance was inappropriate.

To this, Jollibee Foods Corp issued an apology to the public stating that the incident happened during an internal event and that all of their mascots’ performances adhere to their party guidelines.

This isn’t the first video of Jollibee that went viral.  The fast food joint released its so-called Valentine series, “crush, vow and date” just in time for the celebration of Valentine’s Day.

The three commercials went viral not just in the Philippines, but all over the world, even famous vloggers took their time to watch and comment of the said videos.
