Jolina intensified to a tropical storm as rain pours in Metro Manila on Wednesday, July 31.
Tropical storm Jolina was seen 450km west of Subic, Zambales as of 10 a.m. with maximum winds of 65kmph near the center with gusts of 80kmph.
PAGASA forecaster Jori Loiz said much of the rain is focused on southern Metro Manila, including Pasay, Parañaque and Las Piñas Cities.
Jolina is moving northwest at speeds of 11kmph and is expected to be out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Thursday morning.
Likewise, state weather bureau PAGASA has spotted a low pressure area 210 km east of Virac, Catanduanes.
