American boxer Adrien Broner displayed his preparations for his reported up-coming bout against Filipino champion Manny Pacquiao. Reports indicate that the match is set to happen on January 19, 2019 in Las Vegas, United States of America.
In his Instagram account, Broner posted a video of his sparring session, and captioned it with ‘I will be WAR READY #MannyVSAB #VegasJan19’.
In October, Pacquiao, who currently holds the WBA regular welterweight belt, announced that he will face Broner, who has 33 wins, 24 knockouts, three losses, and one draw. The Filipino fighting senator said that the fight could happen either on January 12 or 19 in Las Vegas.
If his fight against Broner pushes through, this will be Pacquiao’s first match after signing a contract with American promoter – manager Al Haymon of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).
Pacquiao, the only eight – division world boxing champion in history, last went up the ring in July this year when he defeated Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse thru a technical knock – out in the seventh round. The bout happened at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
