Senator Risa Hontiveros appealed to Malacanang to revise the tactics in its campaign against illegal drugs.
Hontiveros, said violence should be stopped and abide the human rights and Rule of Law.
The lady senator explained, it is proven in other nations that any campaign against illegal drugs will not succeed if it is through a violent system.
She added, the survey result indicating 71 percent of Filipinos support the anti-illegal drugs campaign but prefer the suspects to be alive, should serve as message to the Palace.
Hontiveros said the Duterte administration should consider drug addiction as a public health issue and that it would help if we treat it and not kill those involved.
The anti-illegal drug campaign in the country has already caught the attention of the international community.
