GotT7’s Bambam exempted from military service

Kpop group GoT7’s Bambam has been exempted from fulfilling his two-year military service in Thailand.

In a report by a South Korean news source, Bambam, or Kunpimook Bhywakul in real life, made his way back to Thailand on April 9, supposedly to participate in the annual military draft.

JYP Entertainment, GoT 7’s management confirmed that he has been exempted due to the numerous volunteers in his district even before Bambam was able to pick a card.

The required spots for new recruits in his district have already been filled up.

In line with this, fans of the group can’t help but rejoice with the said news.  They even made the hashtag #BamBamBlackCard trended worldwide.

Aside from BamBam, NCT member Ten was also exempted from serving in the Thai military.

Ten failed to pass his medical exam due to a knee injury.

GoT 7 is set to jump start its “GoT7 2018 World Tour Eyes on You” on May 4-6 at the Jamsil Gynasium in Seoul.
