Gilas Pilipinas head Chot Reyes has released the 15 players that could possibly join naturalized player Andray Blatche in the national team’s next two games in the Asia qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.
Based on the tweet of Reyes, the national pool is composed of Jayson Castro, Kiefer Ravena, Kevin Alas, Jio Jalalon, RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright, Allein Maliksi, Gabe Norwood, Calvin Abueva, Carl Bryan Cruz, Mac Belo, Troy Rosario, Raymond Almazan, Japeth Aguilar, and June Mar Fajardo.
The basketball coach also announced that they have received clearance from PBA Officer-in-Charge Willie Marcial to conduct practices every Monday starting January 8.
The next qualifying game of the Philippine National Men’s Basketball Team is on February 22 and they will face the Australian team in their home-country.
It will be followed by a game on February 25 in which Gilas will once again face the Japanese team in the Philippines.
