Gilas Pilipinas continues to dominate the 2017 Southeast Asian Basketball Association Championships at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
This is after the Philippine National basketball team defeated the team from Malaysia with a score of 106-51.
Gilas immediately controlled the game by widening the score gap by 19 points during the first quarter. The Philippines continued their offensive and by the end of the 1st half the score was 61-26 with Gilas leading.
Andray Blatche and Troy Rosario, who each gave 13 points, were the lead scorers of the game, while Terence Romeo, and Matthew Wright, gave 12 points each for the victory of Gilas.
Gilas also defeated Myanmar with a score of 147-40 and Singapore with a score of 113-66 during their previous games in the 2017 SEABA Championships.
