No Filipino casualties in earthquake in Chile

There have been no reported Filipino casualties in the magnitude 8.2 earthquake that hit Chile.

According to Foreign Affairs Spokesman Charles Jose, they haven’t received any report that a Filipino was hurt or killed from the said quake.

Jose made sure that the embassy of the Philippines is monitoring the plight of the 183 Filipinos living in Chile.

The DFA advised the families of Filipinos living in the said country to contact their agency or at the Migrant Workers’ Affairs regarding the situation of their relatives in Chile.
