Fans torn on 2 big Kpop events happening on June 30

Filipino fans are way passed disbelief when they come face to face on having to choose between seeing their favorite South Korean actor, or watch the highly anticipated comeback concert to the Philippines of one of Hallyu’s legendary boy bands.

The fateful date of June 30 will potentially host two big events, a fan meet of South Korean actor Jung Hae-In of the high-rating series “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food”, and Super Junior’s “Super Show 7”.

Jung Hae-In’s fan meet has been confirmed already, with selling of tickets currently ongoing.  Meanwhile, for Super Junior, there hasn’t been any formal announcement yet.  However, fans of the popular group follows the social media posts of Ms. Happee Sy-Go, the local producer responsible in bringing in the past Super Shows, and there have been hints that the said concert may finally be happening next month.

The 30-year old actor is now the “IT” actor in Korea because of his hip, fun loving portrayal of a young boy who falls madly, deeply in love with his sister’s best friend.  Still considered a newbie in the entertainment industry, Jung already appeared in popular series like “Goblin” and “While You Were Sleeping.”

He is also done with his mandatory military service which he took when he was 21 years old.

Meanwhile, there are a lot of speculations on whether or not Super Show 7 Manila leg will push through, as the group has yet to announce the complete line up of their tour, and rumor has it, that the encore will happen in Seoul by the end of the year.

Super Junior’s last concert in Manila was five years ago with “Super Show 5.”  Since then, the group had gone through many highs and lows, including Sungmin’s wedding and Kang-in’s going on an indefinite hiatus from the group after going through some rough patches with his personal life.

If and when the concert pushes through, fans will definitely look forward to the group’s new repertoire, including songs from their new album like “Lo Siento” and “Black Suit.”
