Duterte pays wounded soldiers a visit in hospital

The Armed Forces of the Philippines thanked President Rodrigo Duterte for sparing Php500 million for the construction of a state of the art building, facilities and equipment at the AFP Medical Center in V. Luna, Quezon City.

According to AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Col. Ed Arevalo, the upgrading of the AFP Medical Center is proof that the President is focused on all the needs of the soldiers.

“We are very grateful to the Commander-in-Chief for his assistance.  The AFP Medical Center that caters primarily to military personnel and their immediate dependents has improved significantly in the recent years. This gesture of the President manifest his genuine concern on the well-being of his soldiers working for the accomplishment of their mission and their dependents tending their homes.”

Though rehabilitation on the said hospital continues, Col. Arevalo said that they need additional help for V. Luna so that they can provide ample medical attention to soldiers undergoing specialized treatment.

In line with this, Col. Arevalo said that President Duterte can expect the full support of the AFP and will fulfill their mandate to the country.

“The President can always count on the AFP to always serve its mandate with vigor and dedication.”
