Duterte, Marcos claim top spots in latest SWS survey

Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte continues to top the first quarter Presidential preference survey by the Social Weather Station.

Duterte receives 27 percent followed by Senator Grace Poe with 23 percent.

Vice President Jejomar Binay takes the third spot with 20 percent; Liberal party standard bearer Manuel Roxas II with 18 percent and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago coming in last with three percent.

Meanwhile, Senator Bongbong Marcos Jr. takes the top spot among the Vice Presidentiables with 26 percent.

Senator Francis Escudero is at second with 21 percent.


Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo got 19 percent on the third spot; Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, 13 percent and with a tie in fifth spot, Senators Gregorio Honasan and Antonio Trillanes with five percent.

The survey was conducted from March 30 until April 2 with 1, 500 respondents nationwide.
