The Department of Trade and Industry once again warned the public regarding the substandard materials that have entered the market.
Trade Undersecretary Ted Pascua insisted that the public should be careful in buying cement and steel. The DTI official also advised to check the import commodity clearance (ICC) of said materials.
Usec. Pascua said during an interview with DZRH
Meanwhile, Usec. Pascua stressed the importance of inspecting materials coming from other countries in order to ensure their quality.
Usec. Pascua further added.
