Members of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) inspected some school supplies stores in Caloocan City.
The group of Dir. Dominic Tolentino of the DTI Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau made a surprise visit to the Pandayan School Supplies branch in Rizal Ave., Monumento due to complaints regarding the high prices of their school supplies.
However, Tolentino reported that the price of the school supplies in the store remains normal, and the information that reached the DTI could have been wrong.
The DTI personnel also inspected other school supply stores in Caloocan City, including the National Bookstore branch in Victory Mall.
Millions of students all over the Philippines will returning to school at June.
