The Department of Transportation is asking passengers of the Manila Metro Rail Transit System in EDSA for more patience.
DOTr Undersecretary Cesar Chavez made this appeal after the MRT-3 experienced continuous technical difficulties on Wednesday.
Chavez appealed to commuters to extend their patience as they continue to fix the train operations of the MRT3.
The DOTr official added that they are aware of the daily struggle of MRT passengers, and insist that the problems being faced by the MRT3 are caused by negligence and improper management during the previous administration.
Usec. Chavez believes that the problems of the MRT will be resolved by the reforms that will be implemented, which includes maintenance, procurement of parts, and the usage of new coaches.
