World champion Donnie Nietes is now preparing to take over the vacant World Super Flyweight title after withdrawing from his IBF World Flyweight belt.
Using ALA Promotions’ Facebook page, Nietes announced that he is vacating the said title. “Today, I have made my decision to move up to 115 and vacate my IBF minimum weight, light flyweight, and flyweight divisions.”
He added that it has always been his dream to become a fourth Division World champ and fight all the big names in the Super flyweight division.
According to Michael P. Aldeguer, president and CEO of ALA Promotions International, Nietes is set to vacate his title soon.
“Donnie Nietes will fight for the WBO vacant World Super Flyweight title soon.”
In 2006, Nietes first received his world title against Heri Amol in the organization’s minimum weight championship.
