The Department of Labor and Employment will provide livelihood assistance worth Five hundred thousand pesos the employees who were suspended by the GV Florida bus transport.
According to DOLE Region 2 Director Sixto Rodriguez Jr., their agency will give the 33 bus drivers and conductors of the said bus company 50 nego-karts.
Rodriguez stated that the said vending carts are worth half a million pesos and they intend to distribute them on May one, in time for the celebration of Labor Day.
More than seven hundred employees of the GV Florida bus lost their jobs after the LTFRB suspended the company’s franchise last March after being involved in numerous road accidents. (with report from Boy Gonzales)
