The Department of Labor and Employment issued implementing rules and regulations for the Anti-Discrimination Law, to give equal opportunity for Filipino workers.
This law, known as Republic Act No. 10911, was signed by Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III last February 2.
In the said law, The ‘skills’ of a worker should not be affected by his/her age.
According to Bello, The said law is not only for employers. It is also for regular employees, contractors, and labor organizations.
