The Department of Health warns the public to be careful of buying street foods this Summer Season.
According to Doctor Eric Tayag, Spokesperson of the DOH, the public needs to be careful where they buy their food. Dr. Tayag also said that the public need to check whether the food is cooked well, and also, whether the utensils used, and the area around the stall is clean.
The DOH Spokesman also advised Filipinos to avoid dipping their food on sauce shared with other consumers.
He also told merchants of street food to at least follow the four-hour rule, wherein cooked food must be sold within four hours of being cooked.
