DOH warns public of common summer diseases

The Department of Health (DOH) is warning the public against common diseases during summer season.

Sunburn, heat stroke, sore eyes, cough and colds, diarrhea, rabies and skin disease are in the top list of diseases that may be acquired during summer season.

DOH advised the public to drink more water to avoid dehydration.

The agency also reminded the public that heat stroke could be experienced inside establishments that have no sufficient ventilation while in the middle of summer season.
