Authorities were able to seize more than Php2million worth of shabu during a raid in a shabu laboratory and a house in Las Pinas and Paranaque City on Tuesday night.

Three Taiwanese nationals, identified as Chin Ming Tsai and Cheng Chuan Kou were arrested from the said drug operations and confiscated 347 kilos of shabu, amounting to Php1.7million in a shabu lab at Philam Life Village, Pamplona Dos, Las Pinas.

The operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency then went on to raid another house in BF Homes Phase 5 in Paranaque.  The said house was being kept by the suspects as they use it to cook their shabu.  Authorities were able to confiscate another 50 kilos of shabu and arrested another Taiwanese national.

In an interview with DZRH, Wilkins Villanueva, director of the PDEA-NCR, the raid was conducted based on a tip that there is a bulk of shabu in Metro Manila that is being proliferated by some Taiwanese nationals.
