The Cavite police who was caught hitting two recruits inside Camp Francisco in Ferma, Tagaytay has been relieved from his post.
According to Sr. Supt. William Segun, chief of Cavite Police, he immediately axed Supt. Alex Dimaculangan as chief of the Cavite Provincial Mobile Force Company after watching the video that has gone viral in social media.
Segun said that Dimagulangan even explained and insisted that he was just trying to instill discipline to the two recruits because allegedly, they were “lazy.”
However, Segun said that Dimagulangan’s reasons are not valid to justify his actions against the victims.
Even with his removal from post, the National Police Commission will continue with its investigation against Dimagulangan.
