Kpop idol Jungkook of world-renowned boy group BTS has been involved in a car accident last week, their agency Big Hit Entertainment confirmed in a statement.
The agency released the following statement:
This is a statement regarding member Jungkook’s car accident.
The police have not closed this case yet, so we cannot reveal the exact details, but Jungkook was driving his car last week when he had a minor collision with another vehicle due to his own mistake.
Both the victim and Jungkook did not sustain any major injuries.
Jungkook admitted that he violated the road Traffic Act immediately after the accident. The scene of the accident was resolved and police questioning was completed according to the due process, and an amicable settlement was made with the victim afterwards.

In a report of the Korean news portal Soompi, the 22-year-old idol, whose real name is Jeon Jungkook, was driving his car when he had a “minor collision with another vehicle due to his own mistake.”
Their agency’s statement also added that the police have yet to close the case so details surrounding the incident cannot be revealed. They also assured fans that Jungkook and the victim did not sustain any injuries.
