Reigning IBF Super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas is back home following his successful title defense in the United States of America.
On the early morning of February 7, Ancajas landed at Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
The Filipino boxer was fresh from his debut fight in American soil last Feb. 4, defending his title against Mexican boxer Israel Gonzales at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Ancajas was able to keep his IBG Super Flyweight belt after defeating Gonzales in the 10th round of their 12-round bout via knock-out.
This is the fourth successful title defense of the boxing champion from Davao, who currently has a professional win-loss record of 29 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.
