PBA rookie Robert Bolick has signed a two-year contract with the Northport Batang Pier on Monday, Dec. 18.
Bolick signed the Php 4.4 million contract in front of his manager Marvin Espiritu, Batang Pier team manager Bonnie and assistant manager Waiyip Chiong.
“Robert Bolick is a great addition to the NorthPort Batang Pier Team. With his positivity and winning attitude, what he did in his collegiate career is something you can expect he’ll bring into our team,” Tan said in a Facebook post.
The 23-year old basketball player is the 3rd overall pick during the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft at Robinson’s Place Manila on Sunday, Dec. 18. He was drafted after CJ Perez, who was chosen by Columbian Dyip, and Bobby Ray Parks Jr., who went to Blackwater Elite.
Bolick is known for winning three championships in the NCAA with the San Beda Red Lions. He also won a UAAP title with the De La Salle Green Archers on 2013.
The new addition to the Batang Pier team is the first confirmed member of the 2018 PBA Rookie class of 2018 to sign a contract with a PBA team.
