BJMP visits Marikina City Jail Female Dormitory; checks prisoners for possible sicknesses


The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology visited the Marikina City Jail Female Dormitory in order to check on the state of the prisoners.

BJMP C/Supt. Deogracias Tapayan also spoke with female examinees in order to examine whether various skin diseases are spreading inside the prison.

S/Supt. Xavier Solda, spokesperson of the BJMP, said that they are focusing on the crowded facilities of the BJMP and to ensure that the needs of the prisoners are being provided for.

Solda also said that their priority is to give the needed medicine for prevalent diseases during the summer season.

“Isa ito sa mga compliance namin sa utos ng ating mahal na pangulo na dapat lahat ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno puntahan ang ating yung mga mahihirap nating kababayan.” Solda said regarding Tapayan’s visit to Marikina City Jail Female Dormitory.
