The BBC World Service is bringing to Manila its world-renowned radio programme “The Art Hour on Tour”.
The show will be recorded on April 26 at the Star Theatre in Pasay City. BBC’s own Nikki Bedi will be joining different artists, writers and film-makers plus a bevy of performers, as they showcase and discuss the culture of the Philippines.
Some of the guests for the said show include award-winning director Treb Monteras of “Respeto” fame, visual artist Nikki Luna, and news reporter, documentary maker and recently turned actor Atom Araullo.
Bedi together with the guest panel will tackle the artistic response to headline issues in Manila.
Meanwhile, Rapper-actor Abra will be performing at the said session. There will also be performance poetry from Lousie Meets and “hugot king” Juan Miguel Severo. GB Labrador will definitely bring in the laughs as he will also be doing his stand up comedy.
