A top official of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Baguio City, Benguet was arrested during an entrapment operation on Monday, April 15.
The suspect PLt. Col. Allan Docyogen, chief of the Baguio City Police Intelligence Unit, was accused of demanding Php 200,000 from a complainant in exchange for not being arrested.
The complainant initially paid Php 47,000 to Docyogen on Saturday, April 12.
Operatives of the PNP – Counter Intelligence Task Force (PNP-CITF) apprehended Docyogen after he received the remaining amount, which dropped to Php 50,000.
Docyogen is currently in custody of the PNP-CITF and will be facing charges for robbery extortion.
