Authorities discover marijuana inside home of British national in Subic

Authorities continue to do inventory of the confiscated illegal drugs that were planted in pots inside a greenhouse in Subic, Zambales.

At least 70 high-grade marijuana planted in pots were recovered from a British national and his wife in their home at block 13, lot 4, Magdakena Homes in Subic, early Friday morning.

The joint forces of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 3 and the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Simeon Stuart Mclaren Watson and his wife, Rizza Macabenta-Fernandez.

According to PDEA Dir. Aaron Aquino, his men have been monitoring the subjects for weeks now, which resulted to their arrest.

Aside from the illegal drugs, also recovered inside the suspects’ home include equipment being used in cooking drugs.

Authorities said that the surveillance was launched against the couple after they received information from a concern citizen that allegedly, the suspects were growing and manufacturing illegal drugs inside their home.
