ASEAN leader start arriving for Saturday’s ASEAN summit at PICC

Seven other ASEAN leaders are set to arrive today for the 30th Association of South East Asian Nations Summit.

Early this afternoon, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen is scheduled to arrive followed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Vietnamese Pres. Tram Dai Quang, Myanmar Foreign Minister Aung San Suu Kyi, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha, Lao President Bounnhanh Vorachith and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

Brunei Darussalam’ Sultan Hassan Bolkiah arrived on Thursday,a few days before the ASEAN Summit for his official state visit to the country.

Malaysian Prime Ministr NajibRazak also arrived later in the afternoon.

Following the arrival of all the leaders, the 10 member countries of the ASEAN will be conplete, including the Philippines.

The highlight of the 30th ASEAN Summit will be the ASEAN Leaders meeting at thr Philippine International Convention Center on April 29,Saturday.
