National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Director Oscar Albayalde defended the police against allegations regarding arresting some individuals without sufficient reason especially teenagers.
Albayalde explained, when police arrests minors involved in illegal drugs, it is considered as an ‘isolated case.’
The NCRPO chief added that authorities conducting legal operation against illegal drugs have no intention of arresting minors.
However, there are cases wherein minors are placed under police custody after being arrested in notorious drug dens.
