Alab Pilipinas stretches win streak to 3; beats Saigon heat

Alab Pilipinas was able to secure its third straight victory in the ASEAN Basketball League after beating Vietnamese team Saigon Heat on January 28.

At CIS Arena, Saigon, Alab defeated the home team with a score of 95-87.

The Philippine team was led by its two imports Renaldo Balkman, who gave 26 points and 20 rebounds, and Justin Brownlee, who contirbuted 25 points and 15 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Moses Morgan, Akeem Scott, and Maxie Esho gave more than 20 points for the Heat who have tasted their third straight defeat and, currently, has a win-loss record of 4-5.

Saigon was in control of the game until the end of the second quarter with a score of 47-42.

However, Alab started the third quarter with a 9-0 score run in order to grab the lead with a score 51-47

The Vietnamese basketball team was able to get the score close to 90-87 in the last 25 seconds of the game, but Alab persevered in order its sixth victory after 10 games.
