2017 Miss Universe Nel-Peters visits Rizal Park

Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel Peters, along with other beauty queens, toured Rizal Park on December 6.

The beauty queens, headed by Nel-Peters and her predecessor Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, arrived at Rizal Park at about 10:30AM.

Nel-Peters and Mittenaere were accompanied by 2017 Miss Universe-Philippines Rachel Peters, and beauties who represented Canada, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Russia, Italy, India, China, United States of America, Great Britain, and Spain in the recently concluded Miss Universe pageant.

They offered flowers, and took pictures with the statue of the country’s national hero Dr. Jose Rizal before going to Fort Santiago, Intramuros, and Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.

While the ladies were in Luneta, the security around the area was tightened and no visitor was allowed to get near the monument of Rizal.

According to reports, the beauty queens will only be staying in the Philippines for four days, and their intinerary include a courtesy call to President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacanang, a charity ball, and Christmas party with the Department of Tourism.
