After being granted amnesty by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 111 distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) are headed back home to the Philippines.
The 111 OFW’s arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport will be greeted by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to acquaint them with livelihood assistance under the comprehensive assistance program of the government.
Due to the thousands of undocumented OFW’s, Saudi Arabia previously offered an extension to it amnesty program to help send undocumented Filipino’s back to the home.
